Chromer

The Okuma Chromer was developed as a sister baitcast reel to the Akena with the realization that within the versatility of the round reel design, many applications do not revolve around active cast and retrieve. Instead, the Chromer is optimized for trolling, still-fishing and even light bottom fishing applications where its’ three-bearing design is more than enough for the task. Additional components include an aluminum power handle with Egro Grip knob on the 400 size for confident power under heavy loads. The rigid Alumilite frame, Carbonite drag and gear system are identical to Akena.
